Foreword:

I am now retired but have in excess of 15 yrs experience with 7kw industrial lasers with capacity to cut 20mm thick stainless steel. Autodesk inventor was my weapon of choice to create products for the telecoms industry.
Since I have retired I have taken up 3D printing & laser engraving & cutting as I believe these two disciplines are complimentary to each other. 3D printing comes in very handy for making jigs to hold components for ease of locating batch engraving or cutting.
